Osteopathy in West Sussex

Osteopathy is a hands-on approach that works with the structure and function of the body. It is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues functioning smoothly together. It is suitable for anyone from 0 to 100 years.

Treatment focuses on understanding how different systems of the body work together, and how pain or restriction in one area may affect another.

Drawing on over 30 years of clinical experience, I work with people of all ages to support recovery, ease tension and improve everyday function. Through my sense of touch, I use gentle and calming techniques to release and rebalance your body’s connective tissue and nervous system. This releases restrictions and tensions, enabling a return to a more healthy and balanced state.

Sessions are tailored to the individual, providing a gentle and responsive treatment that works with the body rather than forcing change. Over decades of practice, I have developed an ability to tune into an individual’s body, to discern how peoples’ physical and emotional tensions come together, and soften and rebalance them.

Osteopathy can be particularly effective when combined with breathwork, as breathing patterns play an important role in movement, nervous system regulation and overall wellbeing.
